Geo-position provides
convenient operations
TÜRKSAT 42° East
When the TechniRotor is combined
with a TechniSat receiver, it will utilize
the geo-position system. This means
that once you have made the correct
mechanical settings for the motor, all
you need to do is to input the longitude
and latitude of your location into
the receiver. The receiver will automatically
calculate the various satellite positions.
This means you do not have to
spend a lot of time searching for each
individual satellite position you are interested
in.
Eurobird 28.5° East
ASTRA 28.2° East
The receiver automatically
calculates the various
satellite positions
Once you have entered the co-ordinates
of your location, simply select
the desired satellite position on your
receiver, and the motor will search for
this automatically. Additionally, the integrated
Autofocus function will allow
the system to automatically set the
dish so that it receives the maximum
possible signal strength of the satellite.
The high-performance external units
from TechniSat combined with the
Universal Single LNB provides optimum
digital satellite reception of a
wide range of satellite positions, such
as Eurobird-ASTRA 28.5º East, ASTRA
19.2º East, EUTELSAT Hotbird 13º East,
EUTELSAT 7º East, EUTELSAT 10º East,
EURASIASAT-TÜRKSAT 42º East, EUTEL-
HISPASAT 30° West
*Please note that for
the satellites listed here
not all programmes are
broadcasted at the same
signal strength. To receive
all the programmes of all
these satellites requires (in
central Europe) a dish size
of at least 85 cm!
