Unrestricted single cable
solutions
With the new TechniRouter, TechniSat provides
exactly that. For with this device, existing
single cable solutions within living
spaces can be converted to receive digital
satellite signals without the need for new
cabling. This is not only important for
buildings and homes, for whom tenancy
law means only a common satellite receiving
system is feasible or for whom no new
cabling is possible. In particular, also for
smaller homes, the new TechniRouter
from TechniSat offers the chance
to convert the conventional
antenna cabling to the
satellite receiver. And all
this at an unbelievably
attractive price to boot.
Intelligent technology
At the core of the new technology is the
TechniRouter 5. Within the frequency
range assigned to satellite signals (950-
2150 MHz), this emits eight output frequencies,
via which the individual parties
can then receive unrestricted access to
the comprehensive range of programmes
transmitted digitally via satellite. For this
purpose, it uses specific control commands
(DiSEqC), which have been implemented
in line with the European directive
EN 50494. The device is connected
in the same way as a normal satellite distributor
e.g. to the storage device via the
Quatro LNB of the satellite system. The
central antenna cable e.g. of an analogue
antenna system, is then simply connected
to the TechniRouter. In this way, now all
programmes receivable via satellite can
be watched on the eight channels.

digitally via satellite. The Techni-
Sat TechniRouter actually offers a genuine

Added value services and
pay-per-view TV included
Here, as regards receiving Pay TV choices,
there are also no restrictions on the use
of the TechniRouter. Regardless of the
encoding methods used, pay-per-view
TV programmes can be decoded by the
parties concerned via their individual
receiver and viewed. Additional digital
services and further features - with added
value services absorbed by TechniSat -
The choice of programmes is dependent on the cable
network provider. Many cable network operators
offer divisional and foreign language programmes at
charge in additional to the cable connection charges
for Pay TV.
