Books for the Blind
The Library has a collection of about 2,000 books for the blind. The Pennsylvania
Home Teaching Society and Free Circulating Library for the Blind supports in this
dist?-ict a teacher, herself totally blind, who, under the direction of this Library, visi
the adult blind in their homes and teaches them to read. This service and the use of the
books are absolutely free to all the adult blind in and near Pittsburgh, and the Librarian
requests that names and addresses of such persons be sent to him in order that the
teacher may call upon them.
