This is a coin of great beauty and remarkable style . Very
few specimens are
known. The Virzi coin was sold in Munich (Hirsch xix, Nov. 1907, lot 142) for
£ 775 and again at the sale of Prof. D r S. Pozzi's Collection (Lucerne, April 1921,
lot 445) for over £ 800.
