2EAI NONTI ON. River-god Selinos, naked, with short horn,
holding phiale and lustral branch, standing to 1. and sacrificing at
flaming altar of Apollo, in front of which is a cock to 1. ; in field
to r., bull to 1. with head lowered, standing on pedestal; above
bull, selinon-leaf.
RL. Apollo and Artemis standing side by side in slow quadriga
to r., the former discharging arrow from his bow, and holding
another in 1. hand; Artemis holds reins in both hands; in ex.,
corn-grain. — Tetradrachm

IEAINONTIOI (around, starting from upper r. corner). Herakles,
naked to r., contending with a wild bull galloping, which he
seizes by the horn and is about to slay with his club : border of
dots.
Ri. HY ¥ AX. River-god Hypsas, towards 1., naked, with short
horn, sacrificing before garlanded altar, around which a serpent
is entwined : he holds in r., phiale over altar and in 1. downwards,
lustral branch ; in field to r., a marsh-bird is seen departing, over
which, selinon-leaf : within concave field.— Didrachm.
