this course affords the student practical, hands-on<br />

experience in paying and receiving teller operations .<br />

Students develop skills such as cash handling,<br />

cash drawer setup, maintenance, security and daily<br />

balancing, processing of basic paying and receiving<br />

customer transactions, quoting funds availability,<br />

implementing security precautions, operating ten-key<br />

terminal, and using automated teller machines via daily<br />

practice in a lab setting .<br />

that are happening in this fast paced industry . Special<br />

attention is placed on investment areas in which<br />

customers are allowed to participate, which banks<br />

must have a working knowledge of but are not allowed<br />

to invest in .
