Public Works<br />
Public Works is responsible for the<br />
management, acquisition, maintenance<br />
and repair of facilities, facility systems,<br />
pavements, utilities, vehicles and<br />
housing. Public Works provides<br />
installation support services, including<br />
planning, budgeting, engineering, base<br />
operating services, grounds maintenance,<br />
janitorial, transportation, refuse<br />
collection, ceremony support and pest<br />
control. Public Works also provides the<br />
design, construction, repair, alteration<br />
and demolition of facilities and<br />
infrastructure.<br />

The NAS <strong>Patuxent</strong> <strong>River</strong> St. Nicholas<br />
Chapel is located off Cedar Point Road<br />
less than one mile from Gate Two.<br />
The Religious Programming Center,<br />
Building 401, is located adjacent to the<br />
chapel. Chaplain office hours are<br />
Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m.<br />
to 4:30 p.m. The Religious Program<br />
Center houses the Protestant, Catholic<br />
and Command Chaplain’s offices, as<br />

well as a religious fellowship hall, religious<br />
library, meeting facilities and<br />
multi-use classrooms.<br />
Catholic services are Sunday at 8 and<br />
9:30 a.m. Daily Mass is at 11:35 a.m.<br />
and CCD is Sunday at 11 a.m. The<br />

Protestant service is Sunday at 11 a.m.,<br />
with a dinner/study at 5 p.m. These<br />
times are also posted on the chapel<br />
board on Cedar Point Road.<br />
The RPC also offers Sunday School,<br />
nursery, Bible studies, prayer<br />
breakfasts, Children’s Choirs, a<br />
Christian Men's Fellowship, an active<br />
teen youth group, retreats for all ages<br />
and other special events. Call for more<br />
information concerning counseling,<br />
confession or registration in any of<br />
the <strong>com</strong>mand religious programs.<br />
Programs and services are open to all<br />
military, family members and DoD<br />
eligible personnel with station access.<br />
