The Information, Tickets and Tours<br />
office, in front of the drill hall on Cedar<br />
Point Road, discounts tickets to<br />
theme parks, amusement centers,<br />
museums and attractions throughout<br />
the country. ITT is the station’s first stop<br />
when planning vacations and<br />
getaway weekends. The ITT office also<br />
sells tickets to sporting events, concerts<br />
and theatrical productions.<br />

up<strong>com</strong>ing events in the Washington<br />
metropolitan region.<br />
The ITT office also offers<br />
information on the Fitness and Sports<br />
membership, drill hall locker rentals,<br />

camping reservations, the intramural<br />

The Liberty Program sponsors free<br />
and reduced-price recreational<br />
programs for active-duty military E1-E6.<br />
The purpose of the Liberty program is<br />
to provide station military members<br />

with improved quality of life by offering<br />
a variety of recreation-based<br />
activities, both on and off station.<br />
Typical Liberty programs include trips<br />
to sporting events, ball games, free<br />
movies at the station theater and<br />
ski trips.<br />

The West Basin Marina rents<br />
sailboats, Boston Whalers, V-bottoms,<br />
johnboats and canoes. The marina also<br />
features gas sales, sailing information,<br />
dry storage, launching ramps and<br />
more than 100 slips with water and<br />
electrical hook-ups. Sailing lessons are<br />
available at the marina through the<br />
sailing club. Active-duty and retired<br />
military, reserves, DoD employees and<br />
family members are eligible to use the<br />
marina.<br />
Cedar Point<br />

The Cedar Point Officers’ Club<br />
boasts a view of the Chesapeake Bay<br />
Army-Navy game parade on station<br />
from its dining rooms. The club is open<br />
for lunch Monday through Friday and<br />
dinner Wednesday evening. The club is<br />
an ideal place to host wedding receptions,<br />
retirement parties and other special<br />
occasions. Patrons of the Officers’<br />
Club may use and schedule conference<br />
facilities. Active-duty and retired<br />
military, reserve officers and family<br />
members are eligible to use the club.<br />
Memberships are open to military<br />
officers, DoD employees employed<br />
at <strong>Patuxent</strong> <strong>River</strong> and contractors<br />
at an equivalent GS rating. Membership<br />
is also extended to civilian retirees and<br />
members of the local Navy League.<br />

The <strong>Patuxent</strong> Landing Restaurant is a<br />
popular place for breakfast, lunch, and<br />
dinner. The Navy’s Rations in Kind (RIK)<br />
program provides meals for eligible military<br />
members at the restaurant, which features<br />
hot buffet bars and a full menu. The<br />
station’s all-hands recreation center, Lil’<br />
Eva’s, is also located in this facility in addition<br />
to a free-access CyberZone. The<br />
<strong>Patuxent</strong> Landing is open seven days a week.<br />
