Principal Accountant General; Examiner, Local Fund Audit; Director,
Treasury; and representative NIC. In this consultative workshop the
following decisions are taken:
• The Technical Team of NIC, New Delhi to study the accounting
system adopted in PAMIS and recommend mapping with the
modified version of PRISoft-2010.
• A trial implementation will be taken up at the Bhubaneswar
Panchayat Samiti.
b. Subsequently, another consultative meeting was organised on 4 th
January 2010 which was also attended by Senior Officers from the
office of Accountant General, State Finance Department, Examiner
Local Fund Audit. In this meeting it was unanimously resolved that
Chartered Accountant Firms empanelled with C & AG India will be
entrusted with the responsibility to upload vouchers in the modified
PRIASoft (PRIASoft-2010) and compile the accounts of the Gram
Panchayats.
c. Another meeting was held, which was attended by the Representative
of Finance Department, NIC, Local Fund Audit and few functionaries of
Panchayati Raj Institutions. In this meeting it was decided to test
check the PRIASoft application is one of the Gram Panchayats under
Bhubaneswar Panchayat Samiti. Also, the following administrative
arrangements were made to fast track implementation of PRIASoft in
the State :
• The District Panchayat Officers were declared as the Nodal
Officer for maintenance and rationalization of Gram
Panchayat Accounts.
• All the Gram Panchayat to keep their cash book updated and
authenticated by the Competent Authority within 7 days.
• The Gram Panchayats Extension Officers at the Panchayat
Samiti level to ensure updation and authentication of the
cash book of all Gram Panchayats.
