Deployment<br />

• At times, TCCs are ready with <strong>the</strong> major equipment and manpower, but<br />

lack self-sustainment equipment such as field kitchens, ablution units,<br />

water purification plants, tents and shelters. Such deficiencies impact<br />

readiness and delay deployment to <strong>the</strong> field. Therefore, timely provisioning<br />

action for self-sustainment equipment is required.<br />

• TCCs should endeavour to remain abreast of <strong>the</strong> existing/future capability<br />

gaps so as to make timely offers to <strong>the</strong> UN.<br />

• TCCs with trained troops and ready resources often enjoy preference.<br />
