1. Under Default Resource Access Information, click Create.<br />

2. In <strong>the</strong> Create Resource page, enter <strong>the</strong> resource name and select <strong>the</strong> Resource type<br />

from <strong>the</strong> drop-down list. For example, JDBCPDS.<br />

3. Click Next.<br />

4. Enter <strong>the</strong> connection information. For example, scott/tiger@mydb.<br />

5. Click Submit.<br />

6. Click OK.<br />

That resource should now appear under Default Resource Access Information and<br />

be available <strong>to</strong> all users.<br />

10.3.3.3 Adding a New Resource Type<br />

If you want <strong>to</strong> add a new resource type <strong>to</strong> support your own pluggable data source,<br />

you need <strong>to</strong> perform <strong>the</strong> following procedure:<br />

1. Launch <strong>Oracle</strong> Delegated Administration Services and go <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> Home tab.<br />

2. Login as <strong>the</strong> administra<strong>to</strong>r (orcladmin).<br />

3. Click <strong>the</strong> Configuration tab.<br />

4. Click <strong>the</strong> Preferences sub tab and you should see a page similar <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> one in<br />
