B.1.68 XMMITR<br />

still using session memory, NETINIT7 notifies you that applications must log off<br />

before session memory can be freed.<br />

Note: If you start a product before NETINIT7, it will allocate its<br />

own session memory, which is not recognized by NETINIT7.<br />

NETINIT7 attempts <strong>to</strong> allocate <strong>the</strong> configured session memory in<br />

addition <strong>to</strong> memory already allocated by <strong>the</strong> product you started.<br />

Description (DOS users only) This environment variable applies only <strong>to</strong> users of<br />

<strong>Oracle</strong> DOS protected mode executables. Check your CONFIG.ORA file, located in <strong>the</strong><br />

DOS <strong>Oracle</strong> home direc<strong>to</strong>ry. If <strong>the</strong> XMMITR parameter is set in CONFIG.ORA, you must<br />

set it <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> same value in <strong>the</strong> registry. If this variable is not set in your DOS<br />

CONFIG.ORA files, you do not need <strong>to</strong> set it in <strong>the</strong> registry.<br />

XMMITR (Extended Memory Manager Interrupt Vec<strong>to</strong>r) specifies <strong>the</strong> interrupt vec<strong>to</strong>r <strong>to</strong><br />

be used for <strong>the</strong> extended memory manager/mode transition driver XMM/MTD<br />

interrupt services entry point. To set a different vec<strong>to</strong>r, <strong>the</strong> new interrupt vec<strong>to</strong>r is<br />

expressed as a decimal number. XMMITR should be used only if ano<strong>the</strong>r program in<br />

your system needs <strong>to</strong> use interrupt 100 decimal, or 64 hexadecimal.<br />

Valid Values The same value specified in your DOS CONFIG.ORA file.<br />
