19.4.1.2.1 Viewing a <strong>Reports</strong> Server's Scheduled Jobs Queue To view a scheduled jobs<br />

queue:<br />

1. Navigate <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>Reports</strong> Server main page in <strong>Oracle</strong> Enterprise Manager 10g for<br />

<strong>the</strong> <strong>Reports</strong> Server you want <strong>to</strong> view.<br />

2. On <strong>the</strong> <strong>Reports</strong> Server main page, scroll down <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> Jobs section and click <strong>the</strong><br />

number next <strong>to</strong> Scheduled Jobs.<br />

If <strong>the</strong>re are no scheduled jobs, a zero appears next <strong>to</strong> Scheduled Jobs and <strong>the</strong>re<br />

will be no link because <strong>the</strong> queue is empty.<br />

Table 19–2 lists and describes information provided in <strong>the</strong> scheduled jobs queue.<br />

Item Description<br />

Select Use this radio but<strong>to</strong>n <strong>to</strong> select a particular job. On <strong>the</strong><br />

Scheduled Job Queue page, this function is most useful when<br />

you wish <strong>to</strong> cancel a job. Click <strong>the</strong> Select radio but<strong>to</strong>n next <strong>to</strong> a<br />

job you wish <strong>to</strong> cancel, <strong>the</strong>n click <strong>the</strong> Cancel but<strong>to</strong>n near <strong>the</strong><br />

<strong>to</strong>p of <strong>the</strong> page.<br />

Id This displays a unique job identifier assigned <strong>to</strong> this job by <strong>the</strong><br />

<strong>Reports</strong> Server. This number is strictly under <strong>the</strong> server's<br />

control and cannot be reset by a user.<br />

Job Name If you specified a job name in <strong>the</strong> command line you used <strong>to</strong><br />

run this job, that name is listed here; o<strong>the</strong>rwise, it is <strong>the</strong> name<br />

of <strong>the</strong> job provided for <strong>the</strong> "report=" or "module=" parameter<br />

of <strong>the</strong> job request.<br />

Owner This displays <strong>the</strong> user ID under which this job is scheduled <strong>to</strong><br />

run.<br />

Output Type Lists <strong>the</strong> destination type (destype) specified for this job.<br />

Output Format Lists <strong>the</strong> output format (desformat) specified for this job.<br />

Repeat Interval The frequency at which <strong>the</strong> job will be run, for example, daily,<br />

monthly, and so on.<br />

Last Run At The time stamp when <strong>the</strong> scheduled job was previously run.<br />

Next Run At The time stamp when <strong>the</strong> scheduled job was run immediately<br />

next.<br />

19.4.1.2.2 Cancelling a Scheduled Job To cancel a scheduled job:<br />

1. On <strong>the</strong> Scheduled Jobs page, click <strong>the</strong> Select radio but<strong>to</strong>n next <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> job you want<br />

<strong>to</strong> cancel.<br />

2. Click <strong>the</strong> Cancel but<strong>to</strong>n.<br />

This but<strong>to</strong>n does not display in <strong>Oracle</strong> Enterprise Manager 10g if <strong>the</strong>re are no<br />

scheduled jobs.<br />

If you wish <strong>to</strong> rerun <strong>the</strong> job, you can do so from <strong>the</strong> Finished Jobs page.<br />
