Command Line Keywords<br />

Description Use ARRAYSIZE <strong>to</strong> specify <strong>the</strong> size (in kilobytes) for use with <strong>Oracle</strong>9i<br />

array processing. Generally, <strong>the</strong> larger <strong>the</strong> array size, <strong>the</strong> faster <strong>the</strong> report will run.<br />

Syntax ARRAYSIZE=n<br />

Values<br />

n A number from 1 through 9999 (no comma is used with thousands). This means<br />

that <strong>Reports</strong> Runtime can use this number of kilobytes of memory per query in your<br />

report.<br />

Default 10<br />

Usage Notes ARRAYSIZE can be used when running JSP-based <strong>Web</strong> reports from <strong>the</strong><br />

command line.<br />

Table A–4 indicates which commands can use <strong>the</strong> AUTHID keyword.<br />

Description Use AUTHID <strong>to</strong> specify <strong>the</strong> user name and <strong>the</strong> password <strong>to</strong> be used <strong>to</strong><br />

au<strong>the</strong>nticate users <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> restricted <strong>Reports</strong> Server. User au<strong>the</strong>ntication ensures that <strong>the</strong><br />

users making report requests have access privileges <strong>to</strong> run <strong>the</strong> requested report.<br />

Syntax AUTHID=username/password<br />

Values<br />

username/password Any valid user name and password created in <strong>Oracle</strong>AS<br />

Portal. See your DBA <strong>to</strong> create new users accounts in <strong>Oracle</strong>AS Portal.<br />

Single Sign-On Server will perform <strong>the</strong> au<strong>the</strong>ntication step and pass only <strong>the</strong> user<br />

name <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>Reports</strong> Server in AUTHID.<br />
