Command Line Keywords<br />

Description: Use COLLATE <strong>to</strong> control <strong>the</strong> collating behavior when a report is output<br />

<strong>to</strong> a printer.<br />

For example, printing three copies of a three page document with COLLATE set <strong>to</strong> YES<br />

would result in output similar <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> following:<br />

1 2 3|1 2 3| 1 2 3<br />

The order specified is <strong>the</strong> page numbers being printed. This behavior is similar <strong>to</strong><br />

selecting <strong>the</strong> Collate check box in <strong>the</strong> Print dialog box.<br />

Printing three copies of a three page document with COLLATE set <strong>to</strong> NO would result<br />

in output similar <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> following:<br />

1 1 1| 2 2 2| 3 3 3<br />

Syntax COLLATE={YES|NO}<br />

Values<br />

■ YES Collates <strong>the</strong> pages when output <strong>to</strong> a printer.<br />

■ NO Does not collate <strong>the</strong> pages when output <strong>to</strong> a printer.<br />

Default YES<br />

Release 2, use PAGEGROUP.<br />

Values<br />

name The name (internal name) of any valid <strong>Oracle</strong>9iAS Portal Release 1 content area.<br />
