A.4.36 FORMSIZE<br />

Parameters The server value contains four parameters that correspond <strong>to</strong> settings<br />

that are made in <strong>the</strong> <strong>Oracle</strong> Express Connection Edi<strong>to</strong>r and s<strong>to</strong>red in connection (XCF)<br />

files. All four parameters are required and can be specified in any order. Table A–46<br />

describes <strong>the</strong> parameters and <strong>the</strong>ir settings:<br />

Usage Notes<br />

■ You can have spaces in <strong>the</strong> string if necessary (for example, if <strong>the</strong> user ID is John<br />

Smith) because <strong>the</strong> entire string is enclosed in quotes.<br />

■ If a forward slash (/) is required in <strong>the</strong> string, <strong>the</strong>n you must use ano<strong>the</strong>r forward<br />

slash as an escape character. For example, if <strong>the</strong> domain were <strong>to</strong>ols or reports, <strong>the</strong>n<br />

<strong>the</strong> command line should be as follows:<br />

EXPRESS_SERVER="server=ncacn_ip_tcp:olap2-pc/sl=0/<br />

■ You can use single quotes within <strong>the</strong> string. They are not treated specially because<br />

<strong>the</strong> entire string is enclosed in double quotes.<br />
