■ DESTYPE=FTP: Running <strong>the</strong> request is very similar <strong>to</strong> any o<strong>the</strong>r out-of-<strong>the</strong>-box<br />

destinations. You need <strong>to</strong> specify <strong>the</strong> complete FTP URL location along with <strong>the</strong><br />

file name. If <strong>the</strong> FTP server needs an au<strong>the</strong>ntication, that also needs <strong>to</strong> be part of<br />

<strong>the</strong> URL as shown in <strong>the</strong> following example:<br />

FTP URL location along with <strong>the</strong> report name myreport.pdf.<br />

To use a proxy server, edit <strong>the</strong> destination element (configured for FTP<br />

out-of-<strong>the</strong>-box) in <strong>the</strong> <strong>Reports</strong> Server configuration file:<br />

To specify <strong>the</strong> proxy information, edit <strong>the</strong> proxyinfo.xml file available in <strong>the</strong><br />

default location (ORACLE_HOME\reports\conf). Uncomment <strong>the</strong> previous<br />

property entry and specify <strong>the</strong> complete path <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> proxyinfo.xml file as <strong>the</strong><br />

value.<br />

For example, if your ORACLE_HOME is located in D:\9iAS, <strong>the</strong>n <strong>the</strong> default<br />

location for proxyinfo.xml can be specified as:<br />
