-Found <strong>on</strong> lot Nz 66w in Southern Flevol<strong>and</strong>, north-north-east<br />

of the village of Spakenburg, excavated in 198339.<br />

-Stock-number: NZ66w/13.<br />

-St<strong>on</strong>eware: the inventory c<strong>on</strong>tains <strong>on</strong>e complete very small<br />

Siegburg jug (fi g. 11).<br />

-C<strong>on</strong>text of the pottery: found inside the wreck.<br />

-Dating evidence: the type of sintel provides a building date<br />

between the fi rst <strong>and</strong> the third quarter of the 15th century. Th e<br />

wreck date is in the third or fourth quarter of the 15th century.<br />

-Comment: -<br />

2.12 Cargo vessel (complete clinker-built foreign?<br />

ship) G35<br />

-Found <strong>on</strong> lot G 35 in the North-East Polder, near the village<br />

of Creil, surveyed in 199940.<br />

-Stock-number: NG 35-6.<br />

-St<strong>on</strong>eware: <strong>on</strong>ly a partly salt-glazed drinking jug from<br />

Frechen(?) with a volume of c. 1 litre was present (fi g. 12). Th e<br />

vessel showed no traces of use.<br />

-C<strong>on</strong>text of the pottery: found inside the wreck.<br />

-Dating evidence: dendrochr<strong>on</strong>ological analysis provides a terminus<br />

post quem building date of 1422 ± 6.<br />

Based <strong>on</strong> the pottery the wreck can be dated to the third (or<br />

fourth) quarter of the 15th century.<br />

-Comment: the inventory also c<strong>on</strong>tains a stewing pan(?) <strong>and</strong><br />

sherds of a cooking pot in redware.<br />

2.13 Cargo vessel B55<br />

-Found <strong>on</strong> lot B 55 in Eastern Flevol<strong>and</strong>, in the centre of the<br />

town of Lelystad, excavated in 197541.<br />

-Stock-number: OB55/2.<br />

-St<strong>on</strong>eware: fragments of <strong>on</strong>ly <strong>on</strong>e Langerwehe pitcher with a<br />

volume of of c. 20 litres were present (fi g. 13).<br />

-C<strong>on</strong>text of the pottery: found inside the stern of the wreck.<br />

-Dating evidence: the type of sintel provides a building date<br />

between the fi rst <strong>and</strong> the third quarter of the 15th century.<br />

To date no dendrochr<strong>on</strong>ological dating has been carried out.<br />

A wreck date based <strong>on</strong> the ceramics is situated in the third<br />

or fourth quarter of the 15th century.<br />

-Comment: the inventory also c<strong>on</strong>tains a redware frying pan,<br />

redware jug , fragments of redware cooking pots, a copper<br />

kettle, a br<strong>on</strong>ze cooking tripod, <strong>and</strong> a pewter drinking jug.<br />
