Prinergy Powerpack delivers outstanding performance and reliability for
the packaging and converting workflow, reducing errors and increasing
efficiency at ever step. It is the first system of its kind to combine
built-in color management, integrated Pandora step and repeat, and
advanced trapping with an open PDF-based architecture, integrated
database and Internet connectivity. Its native PDF workflow assures
data integrity: the system outputs the same master file that was
preflighted, proofed, approved and stepped. Prinergy Powerpack
accepts all popular file formats including PDF, PostScript, EPS, Adobe
Illustrator, Copydot, CT/LW, TIFF/IT and DCS, and supports all popular
output devices. Prinergy Powerpack uses JDF-based Synapse Link
software to automate the exchange of production data and job status
information with prepress workflow systems and a trade shop /
converter's MIS system.

Prinergy® Access
Prinergy Access is an entry-level Prinergy workflow, delivering
outstanding performance and production management for printers and
trade shops with lighter workflow demands. Prinergy Access features
the core PDF processing capabilities of the Prinergy system. This
automated workflow efficiently drives Creo 4-page and 8-page CTF and
CTP output devices and a wide variety of proofing devices. Additional
capabilities are easily added as your production requirements evolve.
Prinergy Access workflows accept job tickets produced with JDF from
job production planning tools. Prinergy Access accepts JDF-based page
assignment information from Synapse Prepare, PDF preflight software
and can import and export JDF-based job files to exchange job data
between systems. Prinergy Access automates ink-key presetting using
the PrintLink module and uses JDF-based Synapse Link software to
automate access, sharing and utilization of prepress production data for
exchange with printer business information systems.
