Oce PRISMAsatellite for Office is a JDF-based Output Management
System for Office environments, featuring a unified driver, intelligent job
routing to Oce and non-Oce printers, and accounting capabilities. This
solution supports customers in maximizing asset utilization, thus
optimizing end-user productivity. It perfects printing on the deparmental
network and adds fax, e-mail, scan, PDF conversion and archive
functionality to client workstations. It centralizes the management of all
connected devices. A unified driver installed on all desktops permits
easy access to all networked devices, thus enhancing end-user
productivity with print, fax, scan and PDF conversion capabilities without
the need for a locally installed PDF package. It helps to reduce IT
specialists' workload while at the same time increasing return of
investment. PRISMAsatellite for Office features the capability to set
business thresholds which allow an organization to intelligently route
jobs to the most cost-effective printers. Cost accounting capabilities
tailored to the office environment enable an organization to assign the
right printing costs to the right account. PRISMAsatellite for Office
permits a user to print to both Oce and non-Oce devices, in color or
black/white, in Postscript as well as PCL, thus offering unlimited
versatility for highly productive office environments.
