DALiM DiALOGUE
DALiM DiALOGUE is the first ever SWOP-approved standalone
softproofing application running under the Macintosh OS X operating
system, and can integrate with a wide range of third-party automated
workflows. DALiM DiALOGUE provides companies with a facility to
provide remote and collaborative viewing and soft proofing of
high-resolution files via the Internet. Users can view files in real time
without the need for client software or browser plug-ins. DALiM
DiALOGUE has been SWOP Certified to meet the stringent colour
rendering standards of SWOP Inc. Users can be assured that the
monitor image will color-match a hard-copy proof. Using the job
approval system, DALiM DiALOGUE can be configured to initiate
actions that are automatically performed after the file has been
approved. This streamlines the production process by eliminating
operator intervention, reducing possibilities of delays and/or errors.
DALiM DiALOGUE runs under both Red Hat Enterprise Linux and
Macintosh OS X operating systems, and can integrate with suitable
JDF-enabled third-party systems, seen as a "JDF Device". in practice,
this means that the system can initiate a softproofing session based
upon a request from a third-party system. Once the softproofing
session has been completed, DALiM DiALOGUE can inform the other
system, and send over a JDF file containg the session metadata
