Prinergy® Connect
Prinergy Connect workflow solutions provide a collaborative working
environment that optimizes prepress efficiency. Each Prinergy Connect
configuration offers end-to-end PDF workflow, with built-in color
management, advanced PDF-to-PDF trapping, an Oracle database,
JDF support for data management, and connectivity options to
value-add software applications and other systems in the print process.
Prinergy Connect workflow systems accept job tickets produced with
JDF from job production planning tools, such as Synapse UpFront,
Preps or Pandora applications. They accept JDF-based page
assignment information from Synapse Prepare, enabling creative
professionals to allocate pages in the production system. Prinergy
Connect can import and export JDF-based job files to exchange job
data between systems, accept JDF-based imposition information from
software applications like Preps or Pandora, and automate ink key
presetting via JDF with the PrinkLink module. Prinergy Connect
systems also integrate with JDF-based Synapse Link software to
automate access, sharing and utilization of prepress production data for
exchange with printer business information systems.
