Impostrip Proof is the first software to take a complete job defined in any<br />
imposition software or workflow, that supports <strong>JDF</strong>, for production of<br />
printing plates and output it as a duplex proof on any laser printer.<br />
Impostrip Proof produces a digital blue line for customer approval of the<br />
imposition.Impostrip Proof is not a simple reader spread produced from<br />
the same file; it is the actual proof of the imposition geometry of the plate<br />
made for CTP. If the imposition is done incorrectly, if a page is in the<br />
wrong location, or if it is improperly rotated, it will be printed that way on<br />
the Impostrip Proof output, or it will prompt the user there is a mistake<br />
and ask if they want to print it anyway.Impostrip Proof is the only<br />
software that actually recreates the actual process of doing a blue line. We<br />
take the plate data and do a virtual fold and cut to get an exact electronic<br />
replica of what a printer would get doing a conventional blue line.<br />

Ultimate Bindery is stand alone software that allows customers to define<br />
finishing profiles for their binding equipment: stitchers, binders, cutters,<br />
trimmers. It is a generic <strong>JDF</strong> editor tool that applies precise finishing<br />
profile that takes into account each machine options and functions.<br />
Profiles are saved and applied on PDF or <strong>JDF</strong> jobs on the fly. It<br />
communicates the corresponding profile for each job to the finishing<br />
machine via JMF or via hot folder. Ultimate Bindery works with incoming<br />
<strong>JDF</strong> imposition from prepress workflow or from imposition such as<br />
Impostrip, Preps and SignaStation.<br />
