:Apogee DigitalPrintLink establishes a unified hybrid prepress workflow<br />
solution by integrating 3rd party digital presses with :Apogee Prepress<br />
workflow solutions. Using :Apogee DigitalPrintLink, jobs in :Apogee<br />
Prepress can either be processed for traditional offset litho print<br />
production or for automated on-demand print jobs on digital presses.<br />
Output efficiency, quality and consistency is maintained due to the use of<br />
the same :Apogee Prepress workflow which uses the same processing<br />
components and resources, such as Normalizer, Renderer, ICC-profiles,<br />
fonts, and more, for all output devices. The integration of the digital<br />
presses is based on the <strong>JDF</strong>/JMF (Job Definition Format/Job Messaging<br />
Format) standard, enabling a standardized integration and production<br />
automation. Rendered and imposed jobs are transferred from :Apogee<br />
Prepress and will incl. information for the digital press s.a. customer data,<br />
single/double sided, paper type/size, screening and finishing info.<br />
Integration is provided with HP Indigo presses via Digital Front End or<br />
direct with HP Indigo presses 3500, 5000 and 5500, and with Canon<br />
imagePRESS C7000VP range of digital presses (avail. end 2008).<br />
