Our customers have access to standard components to connect to
workflow without the needs of the specific JDF know how. In order to
attach existing or new applications to CIP4, the same components from
ixFrame can always be used. Very interesting for machine vendors is our
ixFrame/OPC with an OPC interface to communicate directly with the PLC
of machines. ixFrame/OPC can run on embedded windows in an IPC.
ixFrame is fully remote controllable.

ixFrame can always be used. They are scaled and configured on demand.
Most workflow customers use databases for data storage. ixact therefore
developed an efficient SQL data base interface to replicate data into
ixFrame and backwards. Other formats like a XML interface are also
provided or could be individually adopted. To implement the business
workflow, ixact has bidirectional added the JDF PrintTalk standard into
ixFrame to transport PrintTalk business objects between print buyers and
printers (request for quotation, quotation, purchase order, delivery,
invoice, proofing, change order). ixFrame/PrintTalk can be used in both,
print buyers or printers applications.
