:Apogee WebApproval connects print buyers through a standard
web-browser and the internet to an :Apogee Prepress production system.
After receiving an automated email notification, users can login securely
and access only their jobs to approve or reject pages instantly. They can
also retrieve single page PDFs or pre-rendered imposed flats for viewing,
local editing and proofing. Using :Apogee StreamProof, rendered high-res
digital film is streamed to the desktop without any unnecessary delay. A
simple and fast upload manager enables upload of page content for initial
processing or page revisions. Uploaded pages automatically enter
:Apogee, where they are preflighted before further processing. When
pages are approved, they will further process to final plate making or
digital print production.

KODAK INSITE Prepress Portal System enables online job submission,
color accurate monitor proofing (via the KODAK MATCHPRINT Virtual
Technology), and when integrated with the KODAK PRINERGY Workflow
System - automated file processing. This includes the ability to receive
and publish JDF-based job information in job context. It allows you and
your customers to: upload and download jobs and job data; proof online
with consistent color management across multi-monitor system
configurations; view accurate color simultaneously with multiple
reviewers; append annotations or comments; approve or reject pages;
manage information; and access secure job-status reporting over the
Internet using a standard browser. MATCHPRINT Virtual Technology is
INSITE's optional color accurate monitor proofing feature that extends
color process control throughout the KODAK INSITE Prepress Portal
System. It ensures that the color of proofs will be consistent and accurate
when viewed at different locations using controlled lighting.
MATCHPRINT Virtual Technology makes this possible with ICC profiles,
color-qualified monitors, and precise tools for calibration and color
verification.
