The Harlequin PLUS Server RIP is a key component of many
industry-leading proofing, imaging and direct-to-print workflows
worldwide. Launched at GraphExpo 2007, the JDF-enabled Harlequin RIP
is available through Global Graphics' OEM partners. Version 8.0 is
compliant with JDF v1.3, and capable of automatically controlling the
rendering, screening, trapping, color management, calibration and
output of both composite and preseparated files.
The Harlequin RIP's speed, flexibility, rich set of features and open
architecture mean that OEMs can build a vast array of Harlequin
RIP-based workflow systems.

Prinect MetaDimension, the RIP and workflow solution from Heidelberg,
significantly enhances the productivity of PDF workflows: files that are
smaller and easier to manage, improved stability and an unrivaled speed
when imaging films and offset plates to the Heidelberg CtF and CtP
recorders. Due to its modular structure, the software can easily be
adapted to every workflow by including In-RIP-trapping, Color
Management, innovative screening methods, PPF / CIP4 connectivity and
proofing solutions. Originally developed for small to medium-sized
enterprises, Prinect MetaDimension will also grow with additional
requirements. It can be extended to a layout-controlled workflow when
combined with the professional imposition software Prinect Signa
Station.
Prinect MetaDimension is part of the Prinect workflow and supports PDF
as the standard for content data. Prinect MetaDimension integrates in the
Prinect Prepress Manager where its key function is to control generation
of all proof, films and offset plates.
