Impostrip MIS Connect converts JDF output from MIS systems that
support Stripping Params into an Impostrip Job. This allows printers to
automate the transfer of information from estimation and planning to the
actual imposition job. In Impostrip the job can be edited to add or change
any information that has come from MIS and to control all the parameters
to make the plate like marks, color bars, etc. Impostrip can then output
the job with the pages as a PDF or PS plate or as a populated or
unpopulated JDF back to a workflow that accepts it. Impostrip MIS
Connect and Impostrip can be a JDF workflow editor for imposition.
Impostrip MIS Connect is hot folder driven and connect to an Impostrip
hot folder for automatic transmission of MIS data for plate production.
