DECLARATION BY DIRECTORS IN RESPECT
OF FUNDRAISING APPEALS
Declared Opinion
We, Ronald Edwin Rankin and Peter Brian George, Directors of Surf Life Saving Australia Limited declare, in our opinion:
i. the fi nancial statements give a true and fair view of all income and expenditure of the consolidated group with respect
to fundraising appeals;
ii. the balance sheet gives a true and fair view of the state of affairs with respect to fundraising appeals;
iii. the provisions of the Charitable Fundraising Act 1991, the regulations under the Act and the conditions attached
to the fundraising authority have been complied with for the year 1 July 2007 to 30 June 2008;
iv. the internal controls exercised by the consolidated group are appropriate and effective in accounting
for all income received.
