Julie Robson:<br />

Growing future Innovators: a scoping study<br />

Dr Julie Robson is a postdoctoral<br />

researcher within the Faculty <strong>of</strong> Education<br />

and Arts at Edith Cowan University<br />

(ECU) in Perth, where she has been the<br />

author and course coordinator <strong>of</strong> the<br />

Contemporary Per<strong>for</strong>mance program.<br />

She is also an Associate Investigator with<br />

the <strong>ARC</strong> <strong>Centre</strong> <strong>for</strong> <strong>Excellence</strong> in <strong>Creative</strong><br />

Industries and Innovation (CCI). Julie is<br />

a per<strong>for</strong>mer, devisor and academic with<br />

research interests in practice-led research,<br />

poststructural feminism, and the role <strong>of</strong> the<br />

arts in education and innovation. Her artistic<br />

research in music and theatre is based on<br />

the sound <strong>of</strong> divas, lamenters, lullaby makers<br />

and monsters.<br />

Luke Jaaniste:<br />

Dr Luke Jaaniste is a researcher <strong>of</strong> arts<br />

and innovation, and a visual and sonic<br />

artist. He is currently based in Brisbane,<br />

where he is a research fellow at the <strong>ARC</strong><br />

<strong>Centre</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Excellence</strong> in <strong>Creative</strong> Industries<br />

and Innovation (CCI). He has published<br />

journal articles and reports on the relation<br />

between the arts sector and higher<br />

education research, the innovation system,<br />

cultural policy and <strong>for</strong>mal education. His<br />

artistic research is concerned with ambient<br />

aesthetics and spatialised engagement,<br />

expressed in digital imagery, site-specific<br />

drawing, and sound arts collaborations with<br />

Loud and S<strong>of</strong>t, and Super Critical Mass.
