como se verá más adelante, la identificación de los diferentes motivos que se conjugan en la decoración de estas piezas es compleja. De cualquier forma, el alejamiento de la idea original será cada vez mayor, puesto que los motivos ornamentales nada tendrán ya que ver, aunque la forma externa de la pieza se mantiene. Finalmente, el tipo de motivo originario se abandona, adoptándose en su mayoria la ornamentación basada en los prótomos de grifos entremezclados, a veces, con ornamentos vegetales, aunque en muchos casos la esquematización alcanza tal grado de abstracción que si no se conoce el origen, la identificación resulta difícil.Z5' Tipologia Antes de pasar al estudio ornamental, se tratarán, aunque someramente, las cuestiones formales de cada tipo, pueslo que a pesar de presentarse como un conjunto relativamente homo- géneo, el grupo de los broches liriformes permite detectar ciertas distinciones y hacer algunas precisiones de interés. No se defi- nirán una serie de tipos precisos y cerrados, puesto que se trata de crear únicamente una primera clasificación tipológica de los hallazgos béticos sin pretender realizar una tipología global de todas las piezas halladas en la Penín~ula.'~~ En la colección sevillana que aquí se estudia se llegan a definir siete tipos y todas sus variantes (fig. 16). que vienen dados por su morfología y su ornamentación; además de todas las piezas únicas que pueden constituir por sí solas un tipo.
