Sucumbíos<br />
Situada en plena selva, Sucumbíos es una de<br />
las entradas a los milagros de la Amazonía. Sus<br />
territorios <strong>com</strong>prenden la reservas Cuyabeno,<br />
Limoncocha y Cayambe-Coca. De Lago Agrio, su<br />
punto central de operaciones, los turistas pueden<br />
acceder a la riqueza de sus siete cantones: ríos,<br />
cascadas, sistemas lacustres, bosques húmedotropicales,<br />
fauna terrestre y acuática. /<br />

Located in the midst of the jungle, Sucumbios<br />
is one of the gateways to the magic of the<br />
Amazon. This territory is made up by the<br />
Cuyabeno, Limoncocha and Cayambe-Coca<br />
Reserves. From Lago Agrio, the primary point of<br />
operations, tourists can access the wealth of its<br />
seven cantons, including rivers, waterfalls, lake<br />
systems, tropical forests, and wildlife.<br />

1. Reserva faunística Cuyabeno.-<br />
Uno de los santuarios naturales más<br />
importantes del país por poseer una<br />
amplia variedad de <strong>ec</strong>osistemas. Esta<br />
reserva <strong>com</strong>pite con el Yasuní en cuanto<br />
a biodiversidad. Se llega a través de<br />
Lago Agrio en un viaje en bus y canoa. /<br />

2. Comunidad Cofanes.- Este pueblo<br />
ancestral de la Amazonía que<br />

costumbres, se ha mantenido aislada<br />
de las grandes urbes y conserva sus<br />
tradiciones. Varias <strong>com</strong>unidades viven<br />
en la reserva Cuyabeno. /<br />

customs with them. The <strong>com</strong>munity has<br />
remained isolated from the urban areas<br />
and maintains its traditions. They live<br />
within the Cuyabeno Reserve.<br />
3. Reserva Biológica Limoncocha.-<br />
Sitio de gran interés para los amantes<br />
de los animales, pues posee una<br />
abundante cantidad de mamíferos,<br />
aves, p<strong>ec</strong>es y anfibios. /<br />
Site of interest for animal lovers. This<br />
reserve is home to a wide array of<br />
mammals, birds, fish and amphibians.<br />
