Any tourist could spend months travelling in<br />
this province, which is adorned with impressive<br />
hills and flowing rivers. The province of Napo<br />
is inhabited by the Huaorani, Shuar and Kichwa<br />
nations, patriarchal societies and <strong>com</strong>munities.<br />
The Shiquino Overlook and Cayambe–Coca<br />
Ecological Reserve are some of the tourist<br />
attractions that stand out.<br />
Destinos/destinations<br />
1. Tena.- La cercanía de Tena con la<br />
selva y con las <strong>com</strong>unidades Huoarani<br />
y Kichwa la hacen una ciudad con un<br />
interesante perfil turístico. Se llega a<br />
Tena a través de la Troncal Amazónica.<br />
Desde Quito se puede acceder por la<br />
Transversal Norte. /<br />

2. Cascada de San Rafael- Formada<br />
a partir de agua cristalina y limpia,<br />
la cascada de San Rafael forma un<br />
esp<strong>ec</strong>táculo admirable. Está ubicada en<br />
el límite de Napo y Sucumbíos, por el<br />
río Quijos. Posee un clima agradable. /<br />

3. Cuevas de Jumandí.- Tras un<br />

interior, es posible observar corrientes<br />
de agua submarina y las estalagmitas<br />
formadas a través de los años. Se ubica<br />
a dos kilómetros de Archidona. /<br />
