Se construyó el cementerio de Nuestra Señora de la Salud, en el año 1811 bajo la ocupación napoleónica, se termina definitivamente<br />
en 1846 con la incorporación de la Ermita de Nuestra Señora de la Salud, cuyo origen es del 1673. Entre las<br />
sepulturas de personas ilustres se encuentran las de Manolete, Guerrita, Lagartijo, Machaquito, José Cruz Conde o Mateo<br />
Inurria, entre otras.<br />
The cemetery of Nuestra Señora de la Salud (Our Lady of Health), was built in the year 1811 under the Napoleonic occupation,<br />
and was finished off in 1846 with the incorporation of the Shrine of Nuestra Señora de la Salud, originally built in 1673.<br />
The graves of famous people buried here include are those of bullfighters Manolete, Guerrita, Lagartijo and Machaquito,<br />
politician Jose Cruz Conde or painter Mateo Inurria, among others.<br />

Cercana a la iglesia de la Magdalena, se levantó, en el siglo<br />
XV, un magnífico santuario en el lugar exacto donde se apareció<br />
la virgen. De original fachada principal. El interior del<br />
templo se divide en tres naves. La cabecera acoge la imagen<br />
titular del santuario, del siglo XV. El camarín y la capilla del<br />
Sagrario son de gran belleza, decorándose esta última con<br />
pinturas murales. Próximo a este santuario se levanta el humilladero<br />
dedicado a la Virgen de la Fuensanta. Construido<br />
en el siglo XV, es interesante debido a su estética goticista.<br />

Near the church of la Magdalena, situated in the former<br />
Huerta de Albacete, this magnificent sanctuary was built<br />
in the 15th century, on the exact spot where there was an<br />
apparition of the Virgin Mary. The original main façade is<br />
made of three diminishing sections decorated with square<br />
designs. The stone entrance has a triangular pediment and<br />
a balcony above it. Inside, the church is divided into three<br />
naves. At the head of the church stands the 15th century<br />
image of the sanctuary’s patron saint. Next to the sanctuary<br />
stands the shrine dedicated to the Virgin of la Fuensanta.<br />
It too was built in the 15th century, and has an interesting<br />
quasi-Gothic style.<br />

Monasterio del siglo XV. Su origen gótico se ha ido enriqueciendo<br />
gracias a las sucesivas intervenciones renacentistas<br />
y barrocas. Actualmente sus propietarios, los marqueses<br />
del Mérito, han hecho una estupenda labor de restauración,<br />
llevada a cabo durante varias generaciones. Impresiona la<br />
gran fachada, con balcones y ventanas, en el centro de la<br />
portada destaca un medallón de mármol blanco con relieve<br />
de San Jerónimo.<br />
15TH century monastery. Its Gothic origins have been<br />
enriched by later Renaissance and Baroque additions. The<br />
current owners, the Marquises of Mérito, have undertaken<br />
an impressive work of restoration, carried out over several<br />
generations. The great façade is outstanding, with its<br />
balconies and windows, and in the centre of the entrance<br />
there is a white marble medallion with a relief of St. Jerome.<br />
