RESOLUCIÓN RECTORAL N° 2290007-ULP-2008-REGLAMENTO DE LAS OLIMPÍADASSANLUISEÑAS DEL CONOCIMIENTO, EDICIÓN2008:Se lo presentará textual y en su formato original,a efectos de que se puedan evaluar losdiversos aspectos de la competencia. En 2006y 2007 se trabajó con instrumentos similares.Lógicamente se han ido enriqueciendo a travésde la experiencia del trabajo de cada año.Visto:La necesidad de establecer el reglamento ylas bases y condiciones para las OlimpiadasSanluiseñas de Conocimiento 2008 organizadaspor la Universidad de la Punta, y;Considerando:Que es objetivo de la Universidad de La Pun-Olimpíadas | 56Rector’s Office, Resolution No. 2290007-Rules forSan Luis Knowledge Olympiads 2008It is going to be presented in its original format sothat the different aspects of the competition can beevaluated. In 2006 and 2007 similar instruments wereused. As expected, these have been enriched thoughthe experience gained each year.In View ofA Resolution to establish the rules, guidelines, and requisitesfor the San Luis Knowledge Olympiads 2008,organized by La Punta University.Whereas, it is the objective of La Punta University,among others, to encourage active involvement in thelearning process and to generate better educationalstandards for all students of the Province of San Luis;Whereas, it is the aim of La Punta University to encourageactivities that extend to the community andwhich promote the production, preservation, andspread of knowledge and experience of the entireeducational community, and to offer a variety of studyprograms and training courses for all children andyoung people of the Province;Whereas, according to the above mentioned, the Universityof La Punta organizes the San Luis KnowledgeOlympiads 2008, which will consist in competitionsin eleven areas of study among students of differentschools of the Province;And whereas, the President’s Office considers appropriateand convenient to establish their own setof rules, guidelines, and requisites for the San LuisKnowledge Olympiads 2008, under its institutionaland academic autonomy and economic and financialautarchy established by Law No. II-0460-2005;In view of the above, and in the exercise of her authority,La Punta University Rector resolvesArt. 1: that the set of rules for the San Luis KnowledgeOlympiads 2008 are thoseArt. 2: that the guidelines and requisites for the SanLuis Knowledge Olympiads 2008 are those establishedin the Appendix II of this resolution;Art. 3: that all Departments of La Punta Universityhave to be notified of this resolution;Art 4: that this Resolution is to be ratified by Mr. Deanof the Office of Extension Affairs and by Mrs. Secretary

These are competitionson different knowledge disciplines, amongmale and female students of up to 19 years of age indifferent educational institutions of San Luis Province.All competition’s participants (students, tutors andcoordinators) should know and accept these regulations.Participation in San Luis Knowledge Olympiadsis totally voluntary.Participation in San Luis Knowledge Olympiadsimplies transferring rights of images for advertising,spreading, TV and radio interviews in print mediaabout San Luis Knowledge Olympiads.ARTICLE 2- VISIONTo be a prestigious competition on a provincial andnational level that includes the greater part of studentsof the Province.ARTICLE 3- MAIN OBJECTIVES OF SAN LUISKNOWLEDGE OLYMPIADS1.To promote knowledge among primary and secondaryschool students of the province of San Luis.2.To foster integration and equality of opportunitiesfor all youngsters of the province through the advantagesprovided by the Information Highways.3.To foster the exchange of knowledge and experienceof the entire educational community through the informaticsinterconnection available in the province.4.To encourage children and youngsters of the Provinceto continue studying and training so that theyparticipate and achieve goof results in local Olympiadsas well as, possibly in national and internationalcompetitions.Olimpíadas | 57
