(22)Intervención familiar en la esquizofrenia...ORIGINALES Y REVISIONESCONCLUSIONESLa diseminación e implantación de un programa de intervención familiar en laesquizofrenia en Gran Canaria ha sido el fruto de varios factores: en su inicio fuefundamental la firme convicción y el apoyo de la dirección del PIRP, junto con ungrupo de profesionales interesados en llevarlo a cabo. Este grupo inicial adaptó a larealidad local otros modelos existentes y puso en práctica un programa de intervención,que fue modificándose según los resultados de la experiencia. Posteriormentese formó a otros profesionales en la aplicación de la intervención. En su diseminaciónpor la red de salud mental también ha sido determinante el apoyo y supervisiónpor parte de uno de nosotros a los profesionales que iniciaban esta intervención.Desde nuestra experiencia podemos resumir las condiciones para la implantaciónde programas de intervención familiar en las siguientes:· Implicar a instancias directivas· Constituir un grupo de profesionales motivados· Desarrollar una formación extensa· Apoyar y supervisar tras la formación· Adaptar el programa a la realidad asistencial y cultural· Responsabilizar a una persona del desarrollo del programaBIBLIOGRAFÍA1.
