superbes témoignages, deux cinéastes, un homme et une femme, ont
parcouru ce royaume fermé.

l’instruction leur permettra d’améliorer leur vie, et c’est pour cela que
chaque jour, dans des paysages incroyables, ils se lancent dans un
périple à haut risque qui les conduira vers le savoir.
Le film sera présenté à Chêne Bourg en audio-description par
l’Association Regards Neufs.

children share the same desire to learn. They understand that only
education will enable them to improve their lives, and that’s why, every
day, they embark on a long, high-risk journey that will lead them on
the path to knowledge.

−Equateur, en Amazonie. Entre les régions de Sarayaku, Lago Agrio
et Yasuni, plusieurs communautés autochtones tentent désespérément
de faire entendre leur voix et reconnaître leurs droits sur la
Pachamama, la terre mère de leurs ancêtres. Rencontre avec celles et
ceux qui dénoncent depuis des années les ravages environnementaux,
culturels, sociaux et humains causés par l’exploitation pétrolière, et qui
imaginent de nouvelles perspectives de développement.
−Between Sarayacu, Lago Agrio and Yasuni, in Ecuador’s Amazon
region, many aboriginal communities are desperately trying to make
their voices heard and rights recognized on the ancestors’ mother
Earth, the Pachamama. A delicate encounter with those who have
been denouncing for years the environmental, cultural, social and
human disasters caused by oil exploitation, and who propose new
development perspectives.
