文 華 酒 店 (Hotel Mandarin Oriental) 與 香 格 里 拉 大 酒
繼 店 (Hotel Le Shangri-La) 之 後 , 最 近 在 巴 黎 的 頂 級 酒
店 行 列 中 又 加 入 了 一 個 新 的 亞 裔 成 員 —— 半 島 酒 店 (Hotel Peninsula)。
它 是 半 島 酒 店 集 團 的 第 十 家 頂 級 酒 店 , 也 是 身 處 歐 洲
乃 至 西 方 的 第 一 家 。 經 過 逾 15 年 的 精 心 選 擇 , 最 終 敲 定 巴 黎 落
腳 。 作 為 實 踐 集 團 宗 旨 『 做 西 方 最 好 的 東 方 酒 店 』 的 第 一 步 ,
它 的 落 成 具 有 著 非 比 尋 常 的 意 義 。
為 此 我 們 特 別 採 訪 了 酒 店 經 理 尼 古 拉 · 貝 厲 阿 (Nicolas
Béliard) 先 生 , 作 為 資 深 員 工 , 他 已 經 在 集 團 中 工 作 了 六 年 。
半 島 酒 店 集 團 是 一 個 始 自 1866 年 、 發 源 於 亞 洲 的 頂 級 酒 店 集
團 , 頭 幾 家 身 處 上 海 、 香 港 。 貝 厲 阿 先 生 從 位 於 香 港 、 已 擁
有 85 年 歷 史 的 半 島 酒 店 開 始 融 入 企 業 。 法 國 人 習 慣 於 悠 閒 慢 步
調 的 生 活 , 這 一 點 正 與 講 求 效 率 的 香 港 風 格 身 處 兩 級 , 然 而 他
勉 力 適 應 下 來 。 接 下 來 是 三 年 在 曼 谷 的 磨 礪 , 來 到 巴 黎 至 今 則
有 兩 年 。
如 果 說 去 香 港 是 他 人 生 與 事 業 的 第 一 個 挑 戰 , 那 麼 巴 黎 半 島 酒
店 的 建 成 則 是 接 踵 而 來 的 第 二 個 。 整 個 酒 店 項 目 —— 從 改 建 方
案 選 擇 、 內 飾 風 格 的 創 立 、 服 務 模 式 的 規 矩 到 成 立 管 理 600 個
人 的 團 隊 , 都 是 在 他 全 程 參 與 監 督 下 成 就 的 , 因 此 他 可 說 是 對
巴 黎 半 島 酒 店 瞭 如 指 掌 的 第 一 人 。 這 也 是 為 何 他 能 夠 如 數 家 珍
般 詳 細 地 為 我 們 講 述 酒 店 的 方 方 面 面 , 歷 史 、 服 務 、 宗 旨 到 酒
店 特 色 , 信 手 拈 來 。
Hotel Peninsula 的 建 築 原 身 是 1908 年 建 成 的 皇 家 酒 店 (Hotel
Majestique)。 1938 年 , 酒 店 被 法 國 政 府 買 了 下 來 , 成 為 一 個
會 議 中 心 , 經 歷 了 歷 史 上 很 多 大 事 件 。 比 如 「 越 南 和 平 條 約 」
就 是 在 這 裡 簽 訂 的 。2007 它 被 賣 給 了 半 島 酒 店 集 團 , 還 原 了 本
來 的 角 色 。
歷 史 的 因 素 決 定 了 酒 店 公 共 空 間 的 建 築 風 格 —— 高 屋 頂 、 大 體
In line with the Mandarin Hotel and the Shangri-La Hotel,
the new Asian Peninsula hotel joined the high-ranking
hotels in Paris. Considered as one of the top ten Hotel
Groups of the world, The Peninsula Hotels rank first in
Europe and the West. After more than 15 years of careful
selection, it finally settled in Paris. The group aims at
having The Peninsula Hotels classified as “the best hotels
in the East and in the West”, a goal with an extraordinary
meaning to achieve.
In this respect, we interviewed Nicolas Béliard, the hotel
manager; highly experienced in this area, he has been
with the group for six years. The Peninsula Hotels were
founded in 1866. Originated from an Asian top hotel
group, The Peninsula Group became the leader in Shanghai
and Hong Kong. Mr Béliard joined The Peninsula
Hong Kong, a hotel with 85 years of history. The Frenchman,
used to a quieter pace of life, discovered the Hong
Kong lifestyle and their efficient work, and managed to
settle down. Three years later, he joined The Peninsula
Bangkok. He moved to Paris two years ago.
If Hong Kong was the first challenge of his life and career,
then The Peninsula Paris came second. The entire hotel
project - from the stunning renovation program to the
newly decorated rooms, the wide selection of services and
the management of a team of 600 people, all are under his
supervision and are part of this successful achievement,
therefore making him the most important person of The
Peninsula Paris. That is why he was able to explain in detail
the hotel in every aspect, be it history, customer service,
distinctive features or ways of working.
The Peninsula Paris has taken up residence in the 1908
building which used to house the Majestic Hotel. In
1938, the hotel, bought by the French government, became
a conference center and hosted many major historic
events. For instance, the “Vietnam Peace Treaty” was
signed there. In 2007, it was sold to the Peninsula Hotels
Group, to restore its first role.
