Le Palais Mascotte, le plus ancien cabaret de Genève (1887 !), se situe au coeur du quartier des Pâquis. Les<br />
artistes internationaux dont Brel, Brassens ou encore Gainsbourg de passage dans la cité de Calvin, ne<br />
manquaient pas de s'y rendre, appréciant son ambiance de douce décadence. Un accordéon ou un piano<br />
rythmaient une tendre nostalgie. Après dix ans de fermeture, Le Palais Mascotte propose trois étages dédiés<br />
au spectacle vivant et à la gastronomie, dans une formule Cabaret Burlesque à la parisienne, des concerts et<br />
spectacles locaux et d'ailleurs, dans un décor d'avant-guerre. Ambiance rétro unique à Genève ! Au sous-sol,<br />
Le Zazou Club: cave à jazz aux sonorités manouches. Le Cabaret au rez-de chaussée: Café de Bohème<br />
avec sa petite scène qu'animent le Trio Parisiana et le Cabaret Burlesque à minuit. Le Duc, au premier étage:<br />
un restaurant rouge et or qui propose son Dîner-Spectacle dès 20h30, et une restauration jusqu'à 5 heures du<br />
matin.<br />
The Palais Mascotte, the oldest cabaret in<br />
<strong>Geneva</strong> (1887!), is situated in the heart of the<br />
Pâquis quarter. International artists passing<br />
through Calvin’s city, including Brel, Brassens<br />
and even Gainsbourg, have not failed to go<br />
there, appreciating its atmosphere of gentle<br />
decadence. An accordion or a piano gave<br />
rhythm to a tender nostalgia. After being<br />
closed for ten years, it now offers three floors<br />
dedicated to live performance and<br />
gastronomy, in a Parisian style Cabaret<br />
Burlesque formula, with local and other<br />
concerts and shows, in pre-war decor. A<br />
unique retro atmosphere in <strong>Geneva</strong>! In the<br />
basement, the Zazou Club: a jazz cellar with<br />
gipsy sounds.On the ground floor, Cabaret:<br />
Café de Bohème with its small stage brought<br />
to life by Trio Parisiana and the Cabaret<br />
Burlesque at midnight.. On the first floor, Le<br />
Duc: a red and gold restaurant that offers its<br />
Show Dinner from 8.30 p.m., and something<br />
to eat until five in the morning.<br />
