portance of foundry and of related technologies and applications,
so much so that they introduced in the trade
show’s logo the name Foundeq, thereby underlining the interest
for the metal foundry sector. This choice, confirmed
by successive editions, was proved right by the increased
interest shown by the automotive sector for technological
materials and products, lighter and more performing,
many being manufactured using ferrous and non-ferrous
casts. This strengthened the partnership bond between
Metef and Assofond, the association of Italian foundries,
which sees in this trade show an excellent tool to enhance
at international level the industry we represent and to
summon all the forces in the field to improve the system’s
competitiveness.
Coherently with these thoughts, Assofond took advantage
of the occasion to hold its annual assembly and related
congress within the framework of Metef both in 2010 and
in 2014. The aim of Metef 2017 in Verona in June next year
is growing in terms of visibility and prestige and increasing
the number of contacts for exhibitors and visitors of
the trade show, an aim shared by Assofond regarding our
associates and for this reason, just like in the past editions
of this event, we are working side by side with organizers
to guarantee the greatest presence at the show of Italian
foundries and to develop direct contacts with the players
of the industry’s application markets.”

rafforzato il rapporto di partnership tra Metef e Assofond,
l’associazione delle fonderie italiane, che
vede in questa manifestazione fieristica un ottimo
strumento per valorizzare sul piano internazionale il
comparto che rappresentiamo e per chiamare a raccolta
tutte le forze della filiera per la miglior competitività
del sistema.
In coerenza con queste considerazioni, Assofond ha
colto l’occasione per tenere la propria assemblea annuale
e il relativo convegno nell’ambito di Metef sia
nel2010sianel2014.
L’obiettivo di Metef 2017 a Verona nel giugno dell’anno
prossimo è quello di crescere in visibilità e prestigio
e di aumentare il numero dei contatti per espositori e
visitatori in fiera, obiettivo condiviso da Assofond nei
riguardi dei nostri associati e per questo, come nelle
scorse edizioni dell’evento, siamo al fianco degli organizzatori
per garantire la maggior presenza in fiera
delle fonderie italiane e lo sviluppo di contatti diretti
con i player dei mercati di applicazioni del settore”.

Bresciana AIB hanno lanciato il progetto “Fonderie
Italia a Metef 2017”, un’iniziativa ambiziosa per favorirelacomunicazioneelamigliorconoscenzainternazionale
dell’industria italiana della fonderia. L’iniziativa prevede un
percorso preferenziale per la partecipazione a Metef delle
fonderie getti, in stretta collaborazione con le associazioni
di settore Amafond, Assofond e Assomet, e un insieme di
