Aluminium 2016 opens in an optimistic mood. Italy places
second after Germany in terms of number of exhibitors

Aluminium 2016 in Düsseldorf will reveal
how the market for lightweight
materials continues to grow. Some
1,000 exhibitors from 50 nations will
beonhandattheworld’slargestindustry
trade fair from 29 November
to 1 December to present trailblazing
solutions for increased efficiency
in aluminium production and processing.
The trade fair is organised
by Reed Exhibitions with valuable
contributions by GDA, the German
Confederation of the Aluminium Industry,
and the European industry
association European Aluminium.
About 27,000 visitors from 100 nations
are expected to attend Aluminium.
The exhibitor side is similarly
international: 60 per cent of the altogether
1,000 exhibitors will travel
from abroad to take part in the industry
meeting in Düsseldorf. Among
the largest of the 50 exhibitor nations this year (behind Germany) will be
Italy followed by China, Turkey, the UK and Spain. Other European countries
as well as North America, the Arab states and Asia will again be represented
in numbers at Aluminium, as well. A further indication of the trade
fair’sinternationalsignificancearethesolidlybookedcountrypavilions,including
the Chinese, the Dutch, the Russian, the Danish and the Norwegian
Pavilion. Moreover, a Taiwanese group stand will be making its debut this
year. As in the past, special theme pavilions will be set up in order to accommodate
various focus topics, including the Competence Centre Surface
Technology, the Foundry Pavilion, the Primary Pavilion, the Welding &
Joining Pavilion, the Recycling Pavilion and the Magnesium Area. But exhibitors
will also present new ideas and hands-on product at two Innovation
Areas returning to Aluminium 2016. Two special areas, “Automotive” (Hall
10) and “Building” (Hall 12), will enable visitors to literally “grasp” the versatility
of aluminium.

così come il Nord America, i Paesi Arabi e l’Asia avranno anche
quest’anno nutrite rappresentanze in fiera. Un altro indicatore del
significato internazionale della fiera sono i padiglioni nazionali,
prenotatissimi, compresi i padiglioni cinese, olandese, russo, danese
e norvegese. Quest’anno debutterà anche uno stand collettivo
di Taiwan.
Come in passato, saranno allestiti padiglioni speciali per approfondire
argomenti tematici, come il Centro per le Tecnologie dei
trattamenti superficiali, il Padiglione Fonderia, il Padiglione Primario,ilPadiglionesaldatureefusioni,ilPadiglioneRicicloel’Area
Magnesio. Ma gli espositori animeranno anche due aree speciali,“Automotive”(Padiglione10)e“Costruzioni”(Padiglione12),
che permetteranno ai visitatori di “afferrare” letteralmente la versatilità
dell’alluminio.
