Aluminium <strong>2016</strong> opens in an optimistic mood. Italy places<br />

second after Germany in terms of number of exhibitors<br />

Aluminium <strong>2016</strong> in Düsseldorf will reveal<br />

how the market for lightweight<br />

materials continues to grow. Some<br />

1,000 exhibitors from 50 nations will<br />

beonhandattheworld’slargestindustry<br />

trade fair from 29 November<br />

to 1 December to present trailblazing<br />

solutions for increased efficiency<br />

in aluminium production and processing.<br />

The trade fair is organised<br />

by Reed Exhibitions with valuable<br />

contributions by GDA, the German<br />

Confederation of the Aluminium Industry,<br />

and the European industry<br />

association European Aluminium.<br />

About 27,000 visitors from 100 nations<br />

are expected to attend Aluminium.<br />

The exhibitor side is similarly<br />

international: 60 per cent of the altogether<br />

1,000 exhibitors will travel<br />

from abroad to take part in the industry<br />

meeting in Düsseldorf. Among<br />

the largest of the 50 exhibitor nations this year (behind Germany) will be<br />

Italy followed by China, Turkey, the UK and Spain. Other European countries<br />

as well as North America, the Arab states and Asia will again be represented<br />

in numbers at Aluminium, as well. A further indication of the trade<br />

fair’sinternationalsignificancearethesolidlybookedcountrypavilions,including<br />

the Chinese, the Dutch, the Russian, the Danish and the Norwegian<br />

Pavilion. Moreover, a Taiwanese group stand will be making its debut this<br />

year. As in the past, special theme pavilions will be set up in order to accommodate<br />

various focus topics, including the Competence Centre Surface<br />

Technology, the Foundry Pavilion, the Primary Pavilion, the Welding &<br />

Joining Pavilion, the Recycling Pavilion and the Magnesium Area. But exhibitors<br />

will also present new ideas and hands-on product at two Innovation<br />

Areas returning to Aluminium <strong>2016</strong>. Two special areas, “Automotive” (Hall<br />

10) and “Building” (Hall 12), will enable visitors to literally “grasp” the versatility<br />

of aluminium.<br />

così come il Nord America, i Paesi Arabi e l’Asia avranno anche<br />

quest’anno nutrite rappresentanze in fiera. Un altro indicatore del<br />

significato internazionale della fiera sono i padiglioni nazionali,<br />

prenotatissimi, compresi i padiglioni cinese, olandese, russo, danese<br />

e norvegese. Quest’anno debutterà anche uno stand collettivo<br />

di Taiwan.<br />

Come in passato, saranno allestiti padiglioni speciali per approfondire<br />

argomenti tematici, come il Centro per le Tecnologie dei<br />

trattamenti superficiali, il Padiglione Fonderia, il Padiglione Primario,ilPadiglionesaldatureefusioni,ilPadiglioneRicicloel’Area<br />

Magnesio. Ma gli espositori animeranno anche due aree speciali,“Automotive”(Padiglione10)e“Costruzioni”(Padiglione12),<br />

che permetteranno ai visitatori di “afferrare” letteralmente la versatilità<br />

dell’alluminio.<br />
