digitalizzazione applicata ai processi produttivi e all’energia.
trasmissione, distribuzione e stoccaggio dell’energia, e
SPECIAL REPORT
70 Years Old, but Still Looking So Young
“Integrated Industry - Creating Value” this is the motto at Hannover Messe 2017. As is always
the case in odd numbered years, this year’s event will be enriched by the presence of companies
from different sectors, this year MDA (Motion, Drive & Automation) and ComVac, focusing on
compressed air and vacuum technology. The partner country is Poland, one of the EU’s most
dynamic economies.
From April 24 th to 28 th , the Hannover Messe
is not to be missed. This year’s event will
be even more memorable thanks to, as is the
case in odd numbered years, the presence
of the oil-hydraulics and mechanical power
transmission sectors: in total, 24 pavilions will
be waiting to show themselves off.
The event was presented, as usual, with a
press conference in Milan, previewing by a few
days the official Press Preview at the Exhibition
Center in Hannover.
Marc Siemering, Senior Vice President of
Hannover Messe, underlined that this year will
InMotion
be a celebration of 70 years, over which time
the exhibition has continued to gain importance
for SMEs too.
“For this year’s edition, said Siemering - 6,500
companies will be on show, over 200,000
visitors will come from 100 nations with
2,500 journalists. 95% of visitors will be trade,
who are, more often than not, the decision
makers visiting such an exhibition with a clear
investment goal in mind”.
Italy is once again the number one foreign
country for the number of companies on show.
Andrea Züge, General Manager Hannover
Fairs International said: “So far Italy has 450
companies on show, with 16.000m2 of floor
space booked; there isn’t a single sector in
which Italy isn’t present”.
This year’s slogan “Integrated Industry -
Creating Value” pushes the way that technology
is creating integration, meaning digital progress
can be applied to production and energy use
processes.
Digitalization will bring about a structural
change in the energy sector. Hannover Messe
will be presenting an ample selection of
solutions for energy production, transmission,
distribution and storage, including, of course,
renewable energy, the intelligent or “smart”
grid, mobile solutions and so on. Companies in
the industrial and energy sectors must be able
to recognize the benefits of such approaches
immediately, with the key concept being in
