Azionam
a confronto per nastri trasportatori nell’industria alimentare
I sistemi a nastro trasportatore
utilizzati in ambito alimentare
hanno tradizionalmente
un azionamento basato
su motoriduttori esterni. I
mototamburi, che garantiscono
vantaggi in termini di spazio di
installazione, accessibilità al
nastro da parte degli operatori
e resistenza ai lavaggi, sono
diventati progressivamente più
noti come tecnologia alternativa
di azionamento nastro. Uno studio
dell’Università di Parma ne ha
messo a confronto caratteristiche
e potenzialità.
TECHNOLOGY
A Comparison of Drives
for Conveyor Belt Systems
in the Food Industry
Conveyor belt systems in the food processing industry have traditionally been using external gear
motors as belt drive mechanisms. Drum motors have become increasingly popular as alternative
belt drive technology due to their clear advantages in terms of space for installation, operators’
accessibility to the belt and suitability for washdown areas. A white paper by the University of
Parma compared features and potentialities of the two solutions.
