EDITORIAL PROGRAMME

EDITORIAL PROGRAMME Richard Barnes Editor-In-Chief Resilience in Uncertain Times We arrive at another IFTM Top Resa Map Pro in what can only be described as “uncertain times” in the French tourism sector. Despite this, global tourism is still growing, as outlined in our UNWTO market wrap. And while the 14 th July celebrations will never be the same again in France after what happened in Nice, it was also on this very same day this year that a UNWTO conference concluded in Sri Lanka, entitled, “Tourism, a catalyst for development, peace and reconciliation”. Indeed, tourism can play a key role in building peace and supporting reconciliation processes, and for this reason, now more than ever, one must never “throw in the towel”. Wishing you a positive and prosperous visit to the show!
