Earlier records in West Norway: Laerdal SFi (M.O.).
Own records: Sauda and Suldal Ri. 4 3 and 3 9 3115-64,316-
61, 25/6-64, 27/6-64, 3016-62.
186 nymphs were found, the younger stages in January and
February. From 116 to 3016, male and female nymphs were found
ready for emergence. The nymphs agree closely with Hynes's
description. The colour is dark brown on the dorsal side, paler
on the ventral side. The ventral side is somewhat more reddish
than in A. borealis. The sout bristles on the femura are distinct.
In the anterior part of the cerci the bristles are about half the
length of the joints (fig. 10B) ; in the posterior part, the bristles
are less than half the length of the joints. The length of the
full-grown nymphs 4-5 mm. The adults agree closely with
Illies's description. Length of the females 6-7 mm, the males
about 6 mm.
Genus Nemoura (Latreille) Pictet, 1841
Nemoura cinera (Retzius, 1783). (Brekke : N. variegata Olivier) .
HOy (Kn), Laerdal, Kvamma, Eggum, Maristova SFi (M.O.).
Own records: Sauda and Suldal Ri. 15 nymphs were found, the
4 3 and 4 9 nymphs ready for emergence were taken from the
stomach of a trout in Suldalsligen. The specimens were determined
by means of adult character after removing the nymph
skin. The nymphs agree closely with Hyne's description.
Own records: Sauda and Suldal Ri. Only 3 nymphs were found
