Material and Method: The investigations were carried out both
on adults on the shore and on nymphs in the water. As in Szterbekken
(Lillehammer 1965), the collecting of nymphs was carried
out by scraping the bottom with the foot and then catching the
loosened nymphs in a plankton net held straight down (cp.
Langford 1964).
Skytterbanebekken (fig. 3) was thorougly examined - with
special regard to adults in mind - from 1114 to 1914. Moving
about on the snow, 147 adult C. bifrons and one nymph were
found. Emergence apparently took place to its largest extent
from 1114 to 1714. At the same time 21 adults and 7 nymphs of
Taeniopteryx nebulosa (Linnk 17-58), 1 adult Capnopsis schilleri
(Rostock 1892) and 5 adult Capnia atra (Morton 1896) were also
observed, all of them were moving about on the snow. In the
