MOBI. E - ELECTRICAL MOBILITY
O principal objetivo do projecto Mobi.E foi a implementação de
uma rede nacional de carregamento de veículos elétricos capaz
de satisfazer as necessidades de todos os modelos existentes.
Durante este projecto, foi definido um novo modelo de mercado
e foram implementados todos os sistemas de informação
necessários para suportar uma rede multi-operador e multicomercializador.
Esta meta foi atingida através da cooperação
de várias empresas, em que a Novabase assumiu o papel de
líder na definição da arquitetura de sistemas, bem como o desenvolvimento
das aplicações de negócio. Foi a criação de uma
aplicação real de “smart-grids”.
The main objective of the Mobi.E project was to implement
a nation wide network of EV charging stations capable of
charging all the electric vehicles in the market. During this
project, a new market model was devised and implemented and
all the IT systems that support a multi-operator, multi-retailer
network were put in place. This goal was achieved through tight
cooperation of a group of companies in which Novabase had
the role of lead systems architect and IT developer of all the
business functionality on the Mobi.E platform. This was in fact
the creation a real life smart-grid application.

SMARTGRIDS @ EDP
No final de 2010 a Novabase iniciou na EDP, em parceria com a
CURRENT, um projecto piloto nas cidades de Santarém, Coruche
e Évora, para avaliar a viabilidade das comunicações PLC
PRIME entre as subestações secundárias e os contadores inteligentes
instalados em clientes residenciais.
O projecto abrangeu as seguintes áreas: concentração de dados
dos contadores inteligentes baseado em PLC PRIME, monitorização
da rede de baixa tensão e comunicações com os sistemas
centrais utilizando GPRS. Em todas as componentes a Novabase
instalou software OpenGrid para operar remotamente o sistema
para gerir a rede de comunicações, monitorizar os indicadores
de baixa tensão e gerir as contagens dos contadores.
Com base nos resultados deste PROJETO, a EDP decidiu avançar
com um piloto de maior dimensão, utilizando tecnologia
PLC PRIME.
Starting in the end of 2010, Novabase has been implementing
in EDP, in a partnership with CURRENT, a pilot installation in the
cities of Santarém, Couruche and Évora to evaluate the feasibility
of PLC PRIME communications between the secondary
substations and the smart meters at residential customers.
The pilot covered the following areas sensing/analytics in the
Low Voltage part of the network, backhaul communications
using GPRS and Smart Metering based on PRIME. Along all
three components Novabase provided OpenGrid software to
operate the system remotely from three different perspectives,
communications network management, Low Voltage Analytics
and meter data.
Based on the results of this pilot EDP decided to move ahead
with a bigger pilot using PLC PRIME technology.
