Situado nos concelhos de Vouzela, Tondela e Oliveira de Frades,
este projeto é certamente um dos maiores investimentos
de sempre realizados naquela região - 95 milhões de euros. O
Parque Eólico Caramulo encontra-se entre os maiores aproveitamentos
eólicos em funcionamento no País, com forte impacte
económico nos três concelhos abrangidos.
Located in the municipalities of Vouzela, Tondela and Oliveira de
Frades, this project is certainly one of the largest investments
ever carried out in that region – 95 million euros. The Caramulo
Wind Farm is among the largest wind power plants in operation
in Portugal and has a powerful economic impact in the three
municipalities covered by this project.

A Central Solar Ferreira do Alentejo com uma potência instalada
de 12 MW, localiza-se no concelho de Ferreira do Alentejo,
distrito de Beja abrangendo uma área de 58 ha. Este projeto
produz anualmente 21,3 GWh de energia elétrica, evitando a
importação de 7 mil toneladas de fuel e a emissão de 12 mil
toneladas de CO2. Esta central solar incorpora, para além da
grande maioria de módulos de silício cristalino, tecnologias solares
como thin film CIGS e solar fotovoltaico de alta concentração,
estando certificada pela TUV.
The Ferreira do Alentejo Solar Power Plant has an installed
capacity of 12 MW and is located in the municipality of Ferreira
do Alentejo, in the district of Beja, covering an area of 58
hectares. This project produces 21.3 GWh of electricity each
year, thus avoiding the import of 7 thousand tons of fuel and
the emission of 12 thousand tons of CO2. Besides its large
numbers of polycrystalline silicon modules, this solar power
plant incorporates solar technologies such as thin film CIGS and
high-concentration photovoltaic solar power. It has also been
awarded TUV certification.
