First it presents a bibliographical review about:bituminous materials, recycling, foamed bitumen and recycling process with foamedbitumen. Furthermore, it displays an analysis of the results of physical and mechanicalcharacteristics of recycled mixtures containing foamed bitumen, which were obtained fromseveral road works in Brazil. It compares the effects of portland cement and hydrates limeas additives and the effects of changes of foamed bitumen contents. Finally, there is adetailed report of the road works carried out on the RJ-106 where were build a test sectionswith three foamed bitumen contents and there are presents the results obtained during andtwenty months after the construction and all its uniqueness.viii
