4.1 Objeto <strong>de</strong> <strong>estu<strong>do</strong></strong><br />

O objeto <strong>de</strong> <strong>estu<strong>do</strong></strong> <strong>em</strong> questão é <strong>uma</strong> oficina <strong>de</strong> usinag<strong>em</strong> <strong>de</strong> <strong>uma</strong> <strong>em</strong>presa <strong>de</strong><br />

<strong>armamento</strong>s <strong>do</strong> <strong>sul</strong> <strong>de</strong> <strong>Minas</strong> <strong>Gerais</strong>, on<strong>de</strong> serão analisa<strong>da</strong>s três máquinas, sen<strong>do</strong> <strong>do</strong>is centros<br />

<strong>de</strong> usinag<strong>em</strong> CNC (Computer Numeric Control – Computa<strong>do</strong>r Numericamente Controla<strong>do</strong>), e<br />

um torno CNC consi<strong>de</strong>ra<strong>do</strong>s gargalo na linha <strong>de</strong> produção <strong>da</strong> oficina. Estes equipamentos<br />

foram seleciona<strong>do</strong>s <strong>de</strong>vi<strong>do</strong> ao alto volume <strong>de</strong> peças e gran<strong>de</strong> número <strong>de</strong> setups. As mesmas<br />

máquinas quan<strong>do</strong> sofr<strong>em</strong> quebras t<strong>em</strong> perío<strong>do</strong>s <strong>de</strong> t<strong>em</strong>po <strong>de</strong> reparo diferentes, <strong>de</strong>pen<strong>de</strong>n<strong>do</strong> <strong>da</strong><br />

gravi<strong>da</strong><strong>de</strong> <strong>do</strong> probl<strong>em</strong>a e <strong>da</strong> disponibili<strong>da</strong><strong>de</strong> <strong>de</strong> peças <strong>de</strong> reposição, muitas vezes adquiri<strong>da</strong>s <strong>do</strong><br />
